Job Description

  • Accountable for end to end process management related to designated client development, product development, order management and post order management activities

  • Intake client program specifications/artwork and process requests via approved/standard workflows

  • Partner with Design and Tech Sales (Commercial) to build custom account presentations based on client briefs or to support client growth opportunities

  • Partner with Commercial teams on developing product opportunities to drive key initiatives and achieve sales objectives for assigned accounts

  • Provide insight into client category and branding strategy. Be able to provide the roadmap on where they play

  • Delegate data entry tasks

  • Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives

  • Maintain strong product knowledge - both internal and client specific

  • Manage client and segment data reporting to maintain relationships with strategic clients based on order revenue and profit targets

  • Design and constantly improve forms and electronic communication tools

  • Support pricing escalation with Commercial teams

  • Maintain in-depth client knowledge

  • Provide structured client on-boarding (both internal and external)

  • Perform ongoing client analysis to identify growth opportunities

  • Provide real-time availability

  • Coordinate the client experience by engaging appropriate cross-functional groups to reinforce White Glove service concept

  • Train/Mentor direct reports/team

  • Conduct physical client visits

  • Monitor pricing due to inconsistencies

  • Execute the product development process from client briefing to artwork development, costing/pricing, sampling, and final approval

  • Remain current on industry trends and product innovations to effectively partner with clients in leveraging Avery Dennison solutions

  • Collaborate closely with Technical selling on large, complex opportunities as well as new innovation

  • Responsible for setting development goals for direct reports


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferred.

  • 5-8 years client-facing and/or order management experience, preferably in the related industry (e.g., Apparel). Team leadership experience preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Full fluency in Dutch and English

  • Proactive with strong teamwork skills

  • Strong understanding of applicable systems, such as Google Suite, relevant ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Oracle Commerce Cloud).

  • Excellent client relationship management and customer service skills

  • Possess training and mentoring experience and skills for team member supervision

  • Possess project management experience and skills

  • Strong presentation experience and skills

  • Ability to develop strategy based on client satisfaction focus

  • Ability to manage client and segment data reporting to maintain relationships with strategic clients

  • Knowledge of product lines needed for product development (Product Expert)

  • Strong problem solving skills (Problem Solver)

  • Ability to understand and map different processes for working with strategic clients and order management at the specific site (Process Expert)

  • Strong conflict solving skills

  • Strong negotiating skills in aligning with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Team Player

  • Adapt to client and business requirements
