Job Details
The pre-press department is responsible for artwork that is sent from the customer and then collects artwork onto jobs that are sent for printing in production.
The files we receive from the customer are processed and adjusted according to our standards when needed, and come up with other solutions so that the customer will get the best possible result if we see challenges. Then the logos are made ready for production. When it has been approved by the customer, the logos are put together on jobs that are printed by the production. To get the most out of material and production capacity, logos have to be placed together on jobs depending on quantity, quality, delivery date, product specification, etc.
Tasks
- File management and adjustments according to our standards when needed
- Find alternatives and communicate this to customer service
- Prepare artwork for printing
- Plan and prepare jobs for production
Qualifications
- Experience and well acquainted with Illustrator and the Adobe package
- Good computer skills
- Has relevant education or experience in print
- Likes to try new things and softwares
- Have an eye for design
- Good English and Norwegian knowledge
