Quality Specialist
Contribute to increasing efficiency, quality and productivity throughout the production chain, through studies and analysis for the development of improvement projects and their implementation in all the company's businesses, including maintenance of the Quality Management System and its certifications, with the aim of improving customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment and in accordance with environment and in accordance with defined policies, procedures and strategies.
Main Accountabilities:
Promote and support the implementation of the local Quality and Operational Excellence (Q&OpEx) strategy to accelerate the rate of operational improvement, with a consequent reduction in costs and an increase in productivity in the operation.
Contribute to improving manufacturing/production processes as well as administrative processes in the business area.
Carrying out process mapping in the business areas in order to establish standardized processes and capture opportunities for improvement.
Promote the implementation of quality methodologies (Lean 6 Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, PDCA, among others)
Support the business area in drafting and reviewing, disseminating and training standards, procedures and work instructions.
Promote the maintenance of operational processes in compliance with quality standards, policies and guidelines.
Lead the process of maintaining and improving the quality system and operational excellence in accordance with the guidelines and targets defined by management.
Planning and carrying out internal audits of the Quality Management system and process audits, analyzing non-conformities, conducting root cause investigations and implementing improvement actions and corrective actions. Prepare and publish management reports with the results of internal audits.
Together with Business Unit Managers, study and analyze data to define improvement and operational excellence projects, coordinating root cause analyses, drawing up action plans to solve problems and improve and control processes.
Support the investigation of root causes and the drawing up of action plans to deal with non-conformities identified by inspections of the production process, interacting with the areas responsible in order to forward and guarantee the implementation of solutions.
Implement Q&OpEx priority and target plans in cooperation with teams in operational areas, monitoring progress in implementing the plan and supporting corrective action when deviations from targets are observed.
Prepare and deliver training on quality procedures and guidelines to develop the organization's capacity for continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
Education: Engineering or Business Administration.
At least 2 years of experience in Quality area
Languages: Spanish and English (desired)
Internal auditor certified (desired)
Desirable knowledge in Substations, Basic Engineering, Protection and Control, Medium and High Voltage Equipment, Technical Document Control.
Experience with projects of different sizes, complexity and form of contracts.
