Work you'll do/Responsibilities:
The International Development / Global Health Supply Chain Specialist, who possesses experience in Private Sector Engagement, will assume a pivotal role as Key Personnel on the Global Health Supply Chain Comprehensive Technical Assistance.
This professional will be tasked with providing technical leadership in the application of best practices in supply chain management and private sector engagement. Their responsibilities will encompass overseeing supply chain analyses and spearheading enhancement initiatives across multiple developing countries. This will involve coordinating with supply chain support staff and Subject Matter Experts, as well as integrating private sector actors into public sector supply chains responsible for the distribution of medicines and other health supplies.
Their role will leverage deep knowledge in planning (including forecasting), sourcing (including order management), and delivery (including warehousing and logistics), along with an understanding of supply chain risk. These efforts aim to drive continuous improvements in processes, supply chain technology, and data analytics support and private sector engagement.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $126,000-$210,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, engineering, analytics, or related field.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearances.
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Minimum (10) years of experience in supply chain with time in supply chain analytics an advantage.
- Strong command of end-to-end to end supply chain leading practices,
- Strong command of private sector engagement leading practices'
- International experience, with experience operating in a developing country context,
o Preferred: Specific experience in the Global Public Health supply chain sector, including substantive experience in the private or public sectors of emerging markets in Africa, Asia, and/or Latin America, would be ideal. - Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve outcomes and drive results.
- Experience managing or implementing international development activities in/for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), and a resulting understanding of the policy, cultural and operational barriers experienced by LMIC governments.
Preferred
- Understanding of Supply Chain Management - basic knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement, inventory management, logistics and distribution.
- Analytical thinking - ability to analyze data and trends for better supply chain decision-making.
- Data Analysis tools - familiarity with tools like Excel, PP and basic understanding of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
- Technical skills - awareness of IoT technologies and their impact on supply chain efficiency and monitoring.
- Communication skills - proficiency in communicating effectively with various stakeholders within and outside the organization.
- Problem-solving - capability to identify issues and develop practical solutions in supply chain management.
- Adaptability - willingness to adapt to new challenges and changes in the supply chain environment.
- Ability to prepare professionally written and organized reports and presentations in English,
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in a similar role and/or with direct supervision responsibilities,
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience related to international development and/or Global Health, with preference for experience working with large USAID projects
- Preferred: at least five (5) years of professional experience interacting with the private sector and government or non-governmental organizations in developing countries.
- Excellent project management skills, including project planning, written and verbal communications, budgeting, and staffing.
