Key Responsibilities
- Lead largescale data transformation initiatives.
- Design & develop data, software, & tech solutions to business questions.
- Pressure-test requirements for accurate delivery.
- Analyze the architecture from the current state to future state transformation process.
- Present & lead status to business stakeholders.
- Prepare & present data distributions to non-tech audiences.
- Compile & deliver accurate solution estimates.
- Define scope by understanding business needs with technology capabilities.
- Elicit requirements from ambiguous business needs.
- Challenge where needed.
- Execute the software development lifecycle for new builds/changes.
Education & Experience
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied & computational mathematics, data science, management information systems, electronics & communication, analytics or related field & 5 years of work experience in a combination of data analyst, data engineering & business systems analyst roles.
Of the experience required, must have:
- 5 years analyzing or engineering data with Database using Structured Query Language (SQL);
- 3 years designing & developing ETL/ELT pipeline using tools including Informatica;
- 3 years gathering business requirements & preparing & presenting orally & in writing to supervisor, non-technology stakeholders, & peers in a matrixed organization;
- 2 years analyzing or transforming data with Python;
- 2 years building data solutions using Snowflake; &
- 2 years storing, processing, or analyzing data on cloud-based solutions including AWS technologies.
Alternatively, would accept a Master’s degree in computer science, applied & computational mathematics, data science, management information systems, electronics & communication, analytics or related field & 2 years of work experience in a combination of data analyst, data engineering roles & business systems analyst. Of work experience required, must have 2 years in (i), (ii), (iii) & 1 year in (iv), (v) & (vi).
Experience may be gained concurrently. Will accept any suitable combination or education, training or experience.
Salary Range: $160,555 - $178,500 per year.
