Introduction to the Team:

The Product Team creates high-quality end-to-end experiences for travellers, partners, and Expedia Group. Our customer-first mindset focuses on developing products that encourage loyalty and repeat business from our travellers and partners. We partner closely with teams across Expedia Group to achieve growth and results for our customers and company.

As an MBA Product Manager Intern, you will be pivotal in shaping innovative travel products, aligning with strategic business objectives, and satisfying customer needs. You'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure our products are at the forefront of the travel industry. Your efforts will focus on integrating advanced AI/ML technologies, conducting rigorous market analysis, and leading product direction with data-driven insights to maintain Expedia’s competitive edge in the travel market.

MBA Internship Program Highlights:

  • Meaningful work and projects: Interns join a variety of Expedia Group teams and directly contribute to business workstreams and priorities; at the conclusion of the internship interns present their work to team members and senior leadership

  • Networking Events: Networking opportunities to connect with industry professionals and expand career pathways

  • Mentorship: Mentors are assigned to each individual intern to support your development and learning throughout the program and are also a great way to build your understanding and network at EG.

  • Support: Coaching and advice, provided by managers, team navigators (buddies) and a specific point of contact per region from Emerging Talent & Careers.

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with engineering teams to make critical trade-offs, ensuring the product is financially viable and solves a customer need. Integrate AI/ML functionalities into the product by overseeing the entire model development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with Expedia Group's key stakeholders to anticipate and plan for product strategy dependencies. Make informed business impact projections that balance immediate and future business goals. Innovate within the product portfolio to influence business strategy and market trends.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and clearly articulate the product's value proposition. Develop hypotheses linking product performance to industry trends.

  • Establish and review product success metrics regularly. Design and analyze product experiments, deriving insights for informed decision-making. Create and maintain product metric dashboards for cross-functional use.

  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on business strategy and market dynamics, owning product requirements and guiding the product development lifecycle.

  • Earn trust and manage expectations across the organization, fostering an inclusive and high-performing team environment.

 Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, graduating in 2027

  • Be available to commit to the full program dates: June 22 – August 28, 2026

  • Must be willing to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance 

  • Proficiency in AI / ML principles and model development

  • Analytical skills with the ability to drive data-informed decisions.

  • Ability to communicate your product vision clearly to drive alignment across partners

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong strategic thinking with a customer-centric approach

  • Effective collaboration with diverse teams to achieve company goals

  • B2B or B2C experience

  • Internship experience supporting digital Product
