Skills and Competencies- 8–10+ years of experience in data operations, remediation, client facing data services, or similar roles.
- Proven experience leading small teams with operational or shift based coverage models.
- Hands on proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- Experience managing contractors or vendor resources.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Experience in high risk, or client critical data environments.
- Background in incident response, data quality operations, or remediation programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Business, Data, Economics, or a related field.
- Serve as the primary day to day point of contact for client data issues and remediation requests.
- Lead initial triage and impact assessment, determining severity, scope, and required response.
- Coordinate rapid response for high priority issues, ensuring clear communication of status, next steps, and expectations.
- Escalate risks, blockers, or sensitive issues to the Senior Director with clear recommendations.
- Lead direct reports responsible for operating a 24/5 remediation and response model.
- Establish coverage models, handoffs, and operating rhythms to ensure continuity and responsiveness across time zones.
- Provide daily direction, prioritization, and coaching to ensure consistent execution and quality.
- Foster a culture of ownership, precision, and urgency.
- Manage day to day contractor relationships, including staffing levels, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate onboarding, training, and access for contract resources to support rapid scaling.
- Continuously assess workload and staffing needs; recommend adjustments to meet demand spikes.
- Ensure contractor output meets quality standards and aligns with remediation playbooks.
- Own execution of remediation workstreams, translating plans into clearly sequenced tasks and milestones.
- Track progress against timelines, service levels, and quality metrics.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions in real time.
- Maintain accurate documentation of remediation actions, decisions, and client communications.
- Apply strong data manipulation skills to review, validate, and guide remediation outputs.
- Support teams using tools such as AI, Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks to analyze issues, track progress, and report results.
- Ensure remediation logic and outcomes are defensible, repeatable, and aligned to governance standards.
- Provide feedback to improve remediation efficiency and accuracy.
- Produce regular operational reporting for the Senior Director covering volume, status, risks, and trends.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements or upstream fixes.
- Help refine remediation playbooks, intake processes, and response SLAs over time.
- Highly structured, detail oriented, and execution focused.
- Comfortable making decisions under pressure with incomplete information.
- Strong sense of accountability for outcomes, not just activity.
- Clear, calm communicator with clients and internal stakeholders.
