    The (Senior) Data Scientist joins the People Analytics & Data Science team on a fixed-term maternity cover, focusing on delivering Data Science, AI and Automations based on people data. The role is project-based rather than product-focused and is responsible for translating complex business questions into analytical models, AI-driven insights and scalable automations.

    Start date May 2026 – December 2027

    Job Description and Requirements

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Deliver Data Science projects across People / HR domains, from problem framing through modeling, insight generation and automation. 

    • Design, build and maintain Data Science models using Python and Snowflake as the primary analytical platform. 

    • Develop AI-enabled solutions and Automations to scale recurring analytics, reporting and operational workflows. 

    • Own end-to-end analytical delivery, ensuring high data quality, reliability and reproducibility. 

    • Ensure responsible, ethical and compliant use of sensitive people data. 

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Strong experience working with Snowflake/SQL/Python/Tableau. 

    • Experience delivering Data Science, AI and Automation solutions in a business analytics context. 

    • Ability to work independently and manage analytical projects end to end. 

    • Experience working with sensitive or confidential data sets.

    The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
