Job Description

The Processing and Network Products organization owns the delivery pipeline for Authorization, Clearing, and Settlement changes across VisaNet. We translate business priorities into technical change, coordinate release execution, and ensure client readiness for platform enhancements that bring benefits to the entire payments ecosystem.  As Senior Product Manager of Clearing & Settlement, you will help shape the Clearing strategy, prioritize the portfolio, and lead end‑to‑end delivery for initiatives impacting our clearing platforms, partnering closely with Regional Product, Technology, Client Services, and Risk.  This role requires strong understanding of payment processing, with emphasis on clearing and National Net Settlement Services (NNSS).

Key Responsibilities:

Clearing is a critical part of the transaction lifecycle that initiates the settlement and funds transfer process with Visa’s clients.  Your strategy and portfolio leadership ensure the right changes get prioritized, executed cleanly, and adopted quickly in order to protect Visa’s reliability, reduce client strain, and enable new network capabilities at global scale.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute the multi‑year Clearing platform strategy that aligns product outcomes to business goals: client experience, compliance, revenue enablement, operational excellence, and reduction of technical debt.
  • Work closely with regional product teams to map capability gaps and opportunities into an executable strategy that balances client impact, regulatory timing, and engineering capacity.
  • Manage the Clearing portfolio by defining prioritization criteria and scoring initiatives that enable short and long term platform strategy.
  • Own end‑to‑end execution and delivery for Clearing & Settlement changes including requirements, design decisions, testing/activation planning, and install readiness.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of payment processing to drive business concepts toward a clearing platform solution approach.
  • Maintain close partnerships with clients to understand how new functionalities can meet their needs and preferences.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
