    Job Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and technically fluent Manager to lead a high-performing team of software engineers. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our product development by mentoring talent, allocating resources strategically, and advancing cutting-edge technologies - including AI-driven solutions.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll guide technical direction, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and ensure our solutions remain competitive and impactful in the market.

    Job Description and Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and/or architects across multiple product areas.

    • Drive development of existing applications, including new platforms where majority of the work is AI-driven.

    • Allocate and validate engineering resources based on Scrum team needs and business priorities.

    • Actively participate in the engineering process, contributing to software design, development, and integration.

    • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.

    • Promote domain knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the team.

    • Provide technical leadership and serve as a technology advisor to the business.

    • Represent direct reports in discussions about career growth, assignments, and opportunities.

    • Stay current with software technology trends and ensure our solutions remain marketable and competitive.

    • Support organizational initiatives, including process improvements and special projects.

    • May occasionally handle Level II technical support calls after hours.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

    • Proven ability to hire, lead and grow high-performing engineering teams.

    • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor) into development workflows.

    • Experience with SaaS or other enterprise software development.

    • Familiarity with data modelling, ingestion and transformation.

    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with government-facing applications within FedRamp compliance.

    • Background in legal tech or eDiscovery.

    • Exposure to strategic thinking and planning

    • Passionate about building applications with intuitive user experience.
