We're seeking someone to join our Equities Reporting Team as a Product Controller in ISG Finance to work closely with internal finance teams to develop key critical financial analysis that supports Senior Management on strategic planning and business decisions.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Director level position within the Product Controller Job Family which specializes in ensuring adequacy of controls, profit and loss and balance sheet reporting and reconciliations for a segment / business / product area, as well as management reporting across business segments or cross functional end-to-end product oversight.

What you'll do in the role:
> Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
> Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments
> Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work
> Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
> Provide timely, accurate and insightful analytical support in Management Reporting for Equity Business across Asia region to facilitate business decisions
> Partner with the key stakeholders, to identify trends, patterns, and area of potential growth to align with and achieve the Equities Division strategic goals
> Maintain and control the use of accounts to ensure all booking are properly classified and booked
> Understand the overall workflow and process and well plan the reporting schedule to ensure on time delivery
> Identify areas to improve efficiency and quality in booking and reporting, including planning and implementing necessary changes and enhancements
> Work with Regional and Local teams to manage data quality, and to ensure the information is sufficiently robust for decision-making purposes
> Engage in various cross-divisional/region and ad-hoc projects, and assisting in queries from stakeholders
What you'll bring to the role:
> In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment
> Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities
> Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes
> University graduated in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or relevant disciplines
> Ability to work autonomously and under pressure, and are a self-starter, willing to take ownership and accountability
> Strong problem-solving skills, with the mindset of continuous improvement, aiming for excellence
> Strong attention to details, organized and effectively juggle various priorities
> Aptitude for working in a swiftly changing, dynamic environment
> Willingness to work with virtual teams across varying regions towards the achievement of common goals
> Good teamwork, collaboration, and excellent communications skills
> Excellent Microsoft Excel and VBA skills with the ability to navigate and work on complex spreadsheets
> Strong stakeholder management capabilities, including experience managing senior stakeholders
> Product knowledge / experience a plus
> At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
