As a marketing professional, you will maintain a strong partnership with local sales teams, key stakeholders, and regional marketing teams to deliver best-in-class marketing coverage for demand generation, pipeline influence, and account-based marketing, and play a key role in our Japan marketing organization. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Japan, you will execute marketing activities aligned with local market opportunities and Japan business focuses and have a significant impact on Thomson Reuters' success.

About the role 

In this opportunity as a Marketing Specialist, Japan, you will: 

  • Support deployment of integrated demand generation campaigns tailored for a core business segment in Japan (Global Trade)
  • Work across a marketing mix incorporating top, middle, and bottom-of-funnel approaches leveraging tactics spanning content, media initiatives, events (physical and virtual), EDM, digital, and social channels
  • Effectively manage marketing budget
  • Communicate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment in execution and follow-up for marketing initiatives
  • Contribute to marketing KPIs, ensuring the achievement of annual sales contribution and pipeline targets
  • Support marketing reporting to business stakeholders
  • Maintain strong communication with broader Asia & emerging markets
  • Marketing functions to leverage know-how, best practices, and create scalability

About You

You're a strong fit for the Marketing Specialist, Japan role if you have:

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience. Experience in B2B software and content solutions marketing is preferred.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully working across the marketing toolkit to implement initiatives that drive pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Possess a keen eye for marketing contribution and KPIs, with a desire to continually innovate and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Have a passion for contributing to rapid revenue growth.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively across a matrix organization with stakeholders spanning multiple functions and geographies.
  • Be able to collaborate with both external agencies and in-house expertise.
  • Be a team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Technical skills: Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, and Power BI are essential.
  • Language skills: Possess native-level Japanese language skills and business-level English proficiency.
