Be part of a diverse team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You'll contribute to the innovation behind products loved by millions worldwide. Your expertise will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration.
In this role, you will develop and execute a performance validation plan for multi-media imaging Intellectual Property(IP) of Google's mobile SoC. The validation plan goals an in-house bare-metal/embedded environment for both pre and post-silicon. You will need to have a background in embedded programming, computer architecture and preferably camera imaging pipeline/mobile SoC design.
Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Our team combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences. We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. We aim to make people's lives better through technology.
- Work with architects and performance verification lead to develop emulation and post-silicon verification plans to ensure the performance quality of the product.
- Become familiar with the programming model for at least one IP in a custom SoC. Develop and validate the functionality of benchmarks required by the performance verification plans.
- Execute the performance testing plans in emulation and on silicon with the developed benchmarks.
- Debug any discovered performance issue by facilitating hardware performance monitors and analyze collected performance stats with architects.
