Job Description

Visa Operations Command Center is looking to hire an Entry-Level Systems Application Support analyst, what we expect of you, day to day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of VOCC functionality, products, and services
  • Manage support incidents end-to-end in accordance with documented procedures, ensuring issues are resolved or appropriately escalated within established service levels
  • Accurately track, update, and resolve assigned incidents in the incident management system, maintaining thorough and high-quality documentation
  • Collaborate with Level 2 (L2) support teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and underlying problems
  • Develop, edit, and distribute internal and external communications related to incidents, outages, and service updates in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicate issues and status updates to management and internal support groups via pages, email broadcasts, and phone calls as required
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure incidents and queries are resolved to client expectations
  • Participate in ongoing technical training to maintain and enhance role-relevant skills and product knowledge

Work Schedule Requirements: This is an on-site position. An on-site position must be consistently performed at an assigned Visa office location and require daily commute to the office location. Weekend and Holidays will be required.

Shift Work: 12-hour shifts (8:00AM-8:30PM)

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Proven ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions based on available information and present recommendations
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service
  • MS Office suite familiarity.
  • Previous IT Operations/Service Desk experience desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
  • Basic knowledge of AI concepts and/or programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL to support automation and data-driven solutions.
  • Basic understanding of Application Programming Interface
  • Highschool Diploma and 2 years of relative work experience or in a faced paced environment. Or 2 years of equivalent industry experience. 2 years working in tech industry is a plus.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 58,300.00 to 87,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
