What is the role: 

We are seeking for a Snr Manager of Solutions Architecture to lead an Enterprise Solutions Architecture team in the ASEAN+HK Region.

This leader will manage a growing team of highly specialised and expert Solution Architects, overseeing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and working closely with regional sales teams as a key technical advisor and evangelist of our products.

This leader will drive the recruitment and development of a diverse team committed to exceeding our growth targets. Success in this role requires adopting a bottom-up, cloud-first approach with customers rather than leading with products. As a Solutions Architect Manager at Elastic, you will serve as a leader, technical authority, and trusted advisor to customers, partners, solution architects, and the broader community. You will support, coach, and guide the ASEAN solution architecture team in understanding and solving customer business challenges with Elastic solutions.

You'll engage with the regional Elastic community through events and programs, and enable sales through our Partners.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead, mentor, and grow the Solutions Architecture (Pre-Sales Engineering) team, providing comprehensive onboarding support, training, and self-directed education programs to support their continuous development
• Serve as a technical escalation point for your team, bringing deep technical knowledge to support them with any issues and challenges they encounter
• Drive the value proposition for Elastic Solutions within our community and with customers, while communicating and aligning key product insights across our business functions.
• Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to help prioritize features that deliver the greatest value to our users
• Formulate and execute the partner engagement strategy to overachieve regional goals

What you bring: 

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience leading an Enterprise Solutions Architect team
• Demonstrated success in leading a team to consistently exceed monthly objectives while developing sustainable long-term business plans
• Strong evidence of deep technical knowledge with the ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms and technologies, with a preference for expertise in Search, Security, and Observability
• A comprehensive understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms
• Ability to "own the room" while presenting and selling effectively to audiences of all sizes, from intimate meetings to large gatherings
• Servant Leader with a genuine commitment to continuous growth both personally and in developing those you serve
• Travel: 30-50% within the region
