Job Purpose

The Maintenance Lead oversees the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability, production efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role drives preventive and total productive maintenance (PM/TPM), fosters continuous improvement, and maintains 5S across the facility while modeling leadership and accountability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Guide and support Maintenance Technicians in daily operations, ensuring adherence to standards. Participate in training and skill development. 

  1. Enforce all regulations. Promote a culture of safety awareness and proactive hazard prevention. 

  1. Maintain clear communication between maintenance, production, and management. Encourage collaboration, feedback, and transparency. 

  1. Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance. 

  1. Lead root-cause analysis and implement cost-effective improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. 

  1. Manage maintenance schedules and TPM programs to maximize uptime and resource utilization. 

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  2. Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, Facotry Talk Panel View, and Fanuc Robotics required.
  3. Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in electrical troubleshooting, welding, mechanical repair, reading schematics and working with PLC I/O and pneumatics.
  4. Strong communication, basic math, and documentations skills.
  5. Forklift certification and PPE compliance.
