- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript development.
- Experience with HTML and CSS.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of experience developing responsive, adaptive, and performant websites and applications.
- 5 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment.
- Experience with HTML/CSS and frameworks like React/Angular.
- Experience with Flutter, Dart and Kotlin, or Android Jetpack Compose.
- Demonstrated history of building user experiences for new Generative AI modalities.
In this role, you will join a team that is using AI to enable a major technology shift in how users control their devices. Our Large Language Model (LLM) Agents automate interactions with websites and applications, eliminating repetitive tasks and simplifying digital lives. You will be designing new applications integrating AI capabilities and step-change user experiences in partnership with teams critical to P&D products and launching novel experiences and capabilities in production.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Prototype new AI-powered user experiences, incorporating user feedback and iterating on frontends to optimize usability and user satisfaction.
- Work closely with machine learning engineers, researchers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into Google products.
- Conduct user research, analyze user feedback, and translate user needs into actionable insights for the engineering team.
- Work closely with our Product Manager and UX Design partners to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for interacting with Gemini's advanced AI capabilities within products like Chrome and Android.
- Conduct ongoing research and stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and UX design to ensure Google's products remain at the forefront of innovation.
