About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Operations Intern (f/m/d) to join our People team in Berlin for a 12‑month, full-time internship. In this role, you’ll sit at the heart of our Talent Acquisition (TA) function, learning how recruiting systems, processes, and data come together to help Contentful hire great people at scale.

You’ll support our TA Operations team with day‑to‑day operational excellence, process documentation, and tooling, and you’ll have the space to experiment, ask questions, and grow your in‑office skills in a supportive environment.

 What to expect?

• Support TA operations and processes by helping maintain clean, accurate data across our recruiting tools (e.g. Greenhouse and Google Workspace) and documenting key workflows and templates.
• Contribute to reporting and insights by preparing and updating basic dashboards or spreadsheets under guidance, helping the team understand pipeline health and process performance
• Help maintain job description and hiring materials, ensuring they follow our inclusive, standardized templates and are easy for recruiters and hiring managers to use.
• Document processes and create job aids (checklists, how‑tos, FAQs) that make it easier for recruiters, coordinators, and hiring managers to follow consistent workflows.
• Support TA projects and experiments, such as testing new tools, improving candidate and hiring manager experience, or refining how we share hiring packages and role documentation across the company.
• Partner with the wider People team, working closely with Recruiters, Recruiting Operations and People partners to keep things running smoothly and learn how a modern TA function operates end-to-end.
• Hybrid role with no requirement to travel outside of Berlin

What you need to be successful

• You are available for a full‑time, 12‑month internship based in Berlin
• A genuine interest in Talent Acquisition and People Operations and curiosity about how recruiting works behind the scenes (systems, data, and processes).
• Comfort with digital tools, especially Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and a willingness to learn new systems such as applicant tracking systems and scheduling/automation tools.
• Intellectual curiosity- you ask thoughtful questions, connect the dots, and apply sound judgment to your work.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for data quality; you notice inconsistencies and are motivated to fix them.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple small tasks, follow through on commitments, and manage your time effectively.
• Clear communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• A proactive, resourceful mindset – you are motivated to learn, not afraid to dive into new topics, and comfortable asking for help when needed.
