The Issuing Solutions Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic initiatives across Digital Processing Solutions (DPS) product lines. As a member of our PMO team, you will leverage Waterfall, Agile or a hybrid methodology to manage complex, customer-facing software projects that drive business growth and enhance our technological services and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams through the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software enhancements and innovative product features.
- Partner with the business, architecture, engineers, external teams, and vendors to understand project objectives, timelines, risks and dependencies.
- Create, monitor, and manage project budgets and schedules.
- Manage vendor activities such as sourcing engagement, purchase request approval, receiving, invoicing, and vendor deliverables.
- Facilitate collaborative technical discussions and effectively communicate outcomes.
- Provide tailored project communication to technical teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Own project issues from identification through resolution, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and accountability.
- Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement and promote positive change in the organization.
- Ensure projects comply with Visa's Project Management Methodology or Agile Management Methodology, maintaining quality project artifacts that demonstrate adherence to internal processes and controls.
- Participation in trainings, meetings, and events to continually grow your career as a Project Manager and within Visa Inc.
- Model accountability by taking responsibility for your actions, behaviors, and decisions.
Essential Functions
- Solid understanding of project management techniques, including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies and their best practices.
- Management of technology software development and/or infrastructure projects, both large and small-scale, in a fast-paced & matrixed environment.
- Change management, including scope, schedule, and cost.
- Proactive risk and dependency management.
- Facilitation of team meetings and reviews, encouraging open and inclusive dialogue.
- Effective communication of progress, risks, or issues with stakeholders at all management levels across Visa, including architects and strategists, business partners, vendors, and senior management.
- Navigation of ambiguous situations and scenarios by using problem solving skills, by demonstrating ownership and accountability, and by persevering through challenges.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications 7-9 years of relevant experience as a Technical Project Manager or Release Train Engineer with a background in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Jira Align, SharePoint, and Confluence.
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management, communication, facilitation, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written skills with an emphasis on technical and business concepts.
- Ability to analyze and organize a plan based upon available information.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- PMP and/or SAFe Release Train Engineer certifications are preferred.
- Concentration in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) as well as project management, reporting, and Agile tools including Tableau, JIRA, Microsoft ADO, MS Project, Clarity PPM, SharePoint, and Confluence.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 124,300.00 to 198,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
