Wir suchen zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine/n Senior Integration Consultant.
Deine AufgabenAls Senior Integration Consultant arbeitest du in einem kollaborativen Umfeld und entwickelst maßgeschneiderte technische Lösungen für die individuellen Anforderungen unserer Kunden. Du unterstützt bereichsübergreifend die Arbeit in Projekten, im Support und in der Entwicklung. Deine Aufgaben umfassen die Anbindung von Kunden an das globale Pagero-Netzwerk über unterschiedliche Kommunikationsschnittstellen und die Implementierung kundenspezifischer EDI-Formate. Hierzu entwickelst, konfigurierst und testest du Schnittstellen und behebst im Betrieb auftretende Fehler.
Aufgrund des schnellen Wachstums in unterschiedlichen Märkten und Ländern erweitern wir unsere Plattformen kontinuierlich um neue Funktionalitäten und passen vorhandene Produkteigenschaften an. Du wirst daher zusammen mit deinen Kolleginnen und Kollegen immer wieder neue Technologiefelder kennenlernen und dir dabei stetig mehr Wissen über unsere zahlreichen Applikationen aneignen.
Wir erwarten von dir, dass du über Eigeninitiative verfügst, Verantwortung übernimmst und proaktiv nach technischen Lösungen suchst, die gut supportbar, skalierbar und sicher sind. Du löst die anfallenden Aufgaben selbstständig, bist aber gleichzeitig offen für die Zusammenarbeit mit deinen Kolleginnen und Kollegen, um durch die Nutzung vorhandenen Wissens bestmögliche Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Hierbei helfen dir deine ausgeprägten analytischen Fähigkeiten und dein starkes Qualitätsbewusstsein.
Deine QualifikationenAbgeschlossene Ausbildung oder vergleichbare Berufserfahrung im IT-Bereich (gern auch Quer- oder Wiedereinsteiger/in)
Gute Kenntnisse in mindesten einer Programmiersprache (C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, ...)
Gute Kenntnisse in Datenaustauschformaten (XML, CSV, JSON, ...)
Grundkenntnisse in EDI-Formaten (EDIFACT / EANCOM, IDoc, Peppol BIS, ...)
Grundkenntnisse in Kommunikationsprotokollen (SFTP, AS2, HTTPS, ...)
Grundkenntnisse in Datenbanktechnologien und Betriebssystemen
Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

We are looking for a Senior Integration Consultant to build and deliver customer-specific integration solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. You'll connect customers to the global Pagero network via various interfaces, implement and test EDI formats, and troubleshoot issues in live operation. As we grow internationally, you'll help evolve our platforms, learn new technologies, and drive scalable, secure, and supportable solutions with a strong focus on quality.
About the Role
As a Senior Integration Consultant, you will:
- Work in a collaborative environment to design and deliver tailor-made technical integration solutions for customer-specific requirements.
- Support cross-departmental project work across implementation, support, and ongoing development activities.
- Connect customers to the global Pagero network using a range of communication interfaces (depending on customer setup and technical landscape).
- Implement customer-specific EDI formats, including mapping and transformation to meet required standards and business rules.
- Develop, configure, and test interfaces end-to-end to ensure stable, correct data exchange.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and correct errors that occur during operation (analysis, fix, validation, and follow-up).
- Contribute to platform evolution by helping expand solutions with new functionalities and adapting existing product features as the company grows across markets and countries.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies, building deeper knowledge across multiple applications and integration components.
- Take a proactive role in solution ownership—driving designs that are supportable, scalable, secure, and fit for long-term operation.
- Execute tasks independently while actively collaborating with colleagues to leverage shared knowledge and deliver the best overall outcome.
- Apply strong analytical thinking and quality focus to ensure integrations are reliable, well-tested, and production-ready.
About You
You are a fit for the role if you have:
- Completed education or comparable professional experience in the IT sector (career changers and returners are welcome)
- Good knowledge of at least one programming language (C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, ...)
- Good knowledge of data exchange formats (XML, CSV, JSON, ...)
- Basic knowledge of EDI formats (EDIFACT / EANCOM, IDoc, Peppol BIS, ...)
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols (SFTP, AS2, HTTPS, ...)
- Basic knowledge of database technologies and operating systems
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
