Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Oracle Fusion Technical Lead to support and oversee Application Managed Services (AMS) for Oracle ERP Fusion and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Fusion integration design patterns, reporting, and technical best practices, along with strong leadership skills to coordinate vendor delivery teams. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical capabilities and governance oversight to ensure consistent, high-quality AMS delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
- Design, review, and govern integration design patterns using OIC and related Fusion technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, ATP, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to Oracle and industry best practices for integrations using third party middleware or OIC, extensions, and BI Publisher reporting.
- Provide technical direction and quality assurance for solution design, performance optimization, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with functional and business teams to diagnose and resolve complex incidents or enhancement requests.
Service Delivery & Vendor Management
- Review and approve design documents, RCA reports, and change requests submitted by vendor teams.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and proactive problem management initiatives within AMS delivery.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure AMS operations align with ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
- Maintain compliance with security, audit, and change control procedures across all environments.
- Provide performance reports and metrics to IT leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience (8–12 years) in Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical domains, with emphasis on OIC, BIP, OTBI, HDL and FBDI.
- In-depth understanding of integration design patterns and Fusion reporting frameworks.
- Experience with Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) integrations and data models.
- Demonstrated ability to lead vendor or offshore teams within an AMS or production support environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage effectively with global business and IT teams.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.Tech / BE in a relevant discipline.
- Oracle Cloud Certification (OIC or ERP Technical) preferred.
- Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies in Oracle Cloud environments.
- Prior experience supporting in a managed services or enterprise IT setting.
