About the team

Aryeo is the leading software platform for real estate media companies (photographers). We empower thousands of real estate photographers and media providers to run and grow their businesses and deliver stunning content that powers the home-buying journey across Zillow and the industry. We’re a fast-moving team focused on helping independent photographers grow their businesses, simplify their workflows, and create a more cohesive ecosystem for listing media through the real estate industry. As a division of Zillow, Aryeo has a primary role in shaping the future of real estate, enriching the consumer shopping experience and creating value for industry stakeholders.

About the role

As a Sales Manager on the Aryeo team, you’ll lead a high-impact sales team focused on growing adoption of Aryeo’s software among real estate media companies. This is a people-first leadership role centered on coaching, accountability, and execution. Success is measured by building and maintaining a consistent, scalable sales motion that increases the number of companies that power their business growth with Aryeo.

You Will Get To:

  • Lead and develop a team of sales representatives to exceptional performance

  • Provide ongoing coaching through 1:1s, pipeline reviews, skill development, and real-time feedback

  • Establish clear accountability around activity, pipeline health, follow-through, and execution

  • Inspect pipeline and funnel metrics to identify patterns, diagnose issues, and coach reps toward better decision making and prioritization

  • Help reps navigate pricing, deal structure, and customer communication with confidence and consistency, without acting as the primary closer or product expert

  • Refine and operationalize sales playbooks, processes, and sales motions to improve consistency and predictability

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align sales execution with company strategy and customer outcomes

  • Engage as a core part of strategic leadership and translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable expectations for the sales team

  • Build a culture of ownership, preparation, and continuous improvement within the team

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $94,300.00 - $150,700.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $89,600.00 - $143,200.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • You have experience in a closing sales role and bring strong foundational sales skills that give you credibility with sales representatives

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop others, whether formally as a manager or informally as a team lead or mentor

  • Comfortable holding peers and direct reports accountable with clarity, fairness, and consistency

  • Highly organized and value structure, rhythm, and follow-through as tools to improve performance and reduce chaos

  • Balance empathy with performance expectations and do not avoid addressing issues directly when improvement is needed

  • Motivated by building durable systems, strong teams, and long-term impact rather than chasing short-term wins

  • Able to operate effectively in a strategic, SMB-focused sales environment where success is measured by adoption and scale, not just revenue

  • Clear, practical communicator who can translate strategy into actionable guidance that reps can apply day to day

  • You bring good judgment, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset, and you expect the same from the people you manage

  • At Zillow, we value the experience and perspective of candidates with non-traditional backgrounds. We encourage you to apply if you have transferable skills or related experiences.

Preferred:

  • Prior people management experience, including experience as a first-time manager or leading a small sales team

  • Experience selling to small businesses or owner operators

  • Familiarity with SaaS, marketplace, or platform-based products

  • Experience operating in a role where strategic impact outweighs direct revenue ownership or team size growth
