Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, and analyze global travel data from various sources (air, hotel, car, rail, TMC reports, expense data).
- Manage and develop dashboards and KPIs that monitor compliance for spend, traveler behavior, and supplier performance.
- Identify trends, savings opportunities, and forecasting insights to support strategic decisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual travel program performance reports for leadership.
Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Support RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract analysis for air, hotel, car rental, as well as meeting & events creative/production work, and related categories
- Benchmark contract proposals against industry rates and internal program goals.
- Ability to identify travel and events related cost saving opportunities in such areas as sourcing, travel policy compliance, preferred supplier utilization, and traveler behavior.
- Track supplier compliance with service-level agreements and negotiated terms.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers, improve discounts, or enhance service quality.
Program Optimization
- Serve as an internal SME on travel data, market trends, and pricing structures.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, People team, and the agencies on program initiatives.
Tools & Systems
- Utilize travel reporting tools (e.g., Ariba, SAP Concur, TMC tools, Tableau, Power BI).
- Maintain data accuracy across travel systems and reporting platforms.
- Support system enhancements, integrations, and configuration updates.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
4 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 3 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Bachelor’s degree 2 to 5 plus years of experience in corporate travel, procurement analytics, or related fields.
Advanced Excel capabilities with solid data modeling experience and expertise in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Ability to interpret complex data sets and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
Understanding of corporate travel supply chain (airline pricing, hotel sourcing, TMC operations).
Experience supporting travel sourcing events or RFPs.
Knowledge of procurement processes and contract management.
Strong stakeholder communication and vendor management capabilities.
