The Opportunity

As part of the Geospatial Tax team you will engage in innovative projects at the intersection of spatial analytics and tax technology. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain exemplary standards while building meaningful client connections and strengthening your understanding of the business context. This role offers the chance to refine your skills in spatial data engineering, cloud computing, and visualization while working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver actionable geospatial insights that enhance tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.

Responsibilities

- Analyze intricate issues and provide practical solutions

- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

- Develop visualizations that support tax compliance and advisory services

- Utilize programming languages such as Python and SQL to automate data workflows, perform geospatial data manipulations, and support tax-related analyses

- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or ArcGIS StoryMaps

- Develop and optimize Alteryx workflows for data preparation, cleansing, and integration, supporting tax analytics

What You Must Have

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Taxation, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, or Geospatial Science

- At least 3 years of experience

- Certification(s) preferred: Foundational certifications in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Demonstrating experience in geospatial analytics to tax specific challenges or regulatory contexts

- Excelling in intellectual curiosity and adaptability

- Managing multiple priorities with attention to precision

- Working in diverse, multidisciplinary teams and client facing scenarios

- Translating technical analyzes into client-ready insights

- Developing skills in spatial data engineering and visualization

- Engaging in client communication to deliver solutions

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
