We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Director in the OTC Settlements Transformation team which specifically delivers strategic change across Foreign Exchange, Rates, Credit & Commodities and focus on business requirements, process design and optimization, user acceptance testing, and implementation and post implementation risk mitigation and management.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Specialist position at Director level within Change, Analytics & Strategy, which is responsible for developing operating and technology strategies, managing and executing transformation initiatives, leading Agile fleet activities, driving innovation, developing analytics solutions and delivering business outcomes.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert within functional area, working with Team Manager to manage processes, risks and/or projects, proposing and implementing improvements/changes
  • Act as key problem solver for area or expertise, applying detailed knowledge to address unique or novel situations, recognize risks and draw out key issues
  • Liaising with the team that runs the day-to-day FID operations on process improvement and answering ad hoc queries
  • Coordinating technology changes between the global operations and the technology developers
  • Develop strong relationships with IT colleagues to design, develop and implement technology platforms to deliver solutions to these business requirements
  • Provide regular project status updates to the stakeholders and the senior change management, identify and escalate project risks
  • Collect, assess and document business requirements, complete the necessary analysis of product data, recommend implementation priorities and advise clients on solution alternatives, benefits and costs

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, and put forward challenging views to senior levels 
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team
  • Ability to operate independently across the majority of day-to-day responsibilities
  • Project management & business analysis experience required including, but not limited to, a strong understanding of SDLC, process mapping experience, experience of using the AGILE change approach
  • Automation tooling experience desired e.g. PowerBI, Alteryx, AI etc
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills required                                                                                       
  • Exposure to Derivative Settlements is beneficial
  • At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
