OnsiteThe Raytheon Industry 4.0 (I4.0) team is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sr. Manager, I4.0 Project Management Excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency, project management expertise, leadership abilities, and business acumen to ensure projects are successfully completed, on time, and within budget while driving innovation. This individual is responsible for leading our I4.0 Project Management Excellence team with proper planning, execution and monitoring of projects including earned value performance tracking and status and delivering quality capabilities that meet requirements. In addition, the role will support strategic business planning, and corporate initiatives. This role works across functions and levels in the business supporting a complex network of existing and developing digital and cyber-physical factory automation systems, creating I4.0 within Raytheon. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative, diverse, geographically distributed team, and will be working in an Agile management framework.
What You Will Do
- Manage, mentor and develop the project management team to enhance their skills and capabilities, while providing guidance on complex issues and challenges
- Directly manage high-impact, cross-functional projects
- Oversee a portfolio of complex projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
- Monitor the overall project portfolio performance and identify potential risks and opportunities
- Develop and implement strategic project management plans
- Expected to Travel up to 25% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor’s in engineering or business-related field
- 10+ years relevant professional experience, with at least 4 years of team leadership experience (Team Lead/REA, IPTL, PM, or functional management).
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, scheduling, manage budgets including EV techniques, manage R&Os and lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion.
- Experience developing business cases and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Raytheon Project Management level 6 certification and/or PMP certification
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience with Product management tools (Jira, DevOps, etc.)
- Experience with transition to production of software products, automation systems or similar
- Experience with Capital funding
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of relevant business sectors, have established relationships with leaders, and be familiar with the product lines, customer base, and manufacturing operations.
This position is an onsite role at either our Andover, MA or Tucson, AZ or McKinney, TX or Goleta/Santa Barbara, CA sites

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
