Director, Enterprise Alliances

Please note this role is only available in Seattle or San Francisco and follows our flexible work model, which requires three in-office days a week.

Role Overview
The Director, Enterprise Alliances will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high impact partnerships with major technology and ecommerce companies. This individual will own both the strategy and execution of these partnerships, driving joint initiatives, business development, and account management to deliver measurable business results for Expedia Group.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring strong strategic and business acumen, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate independently with limited direction. The Director will work closely with internal teams across business, product, technology, analytics, and finance to deliver partnership value.


In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute partnership strategies with assigned technology partners, driving both short- and long-term value for Expedia Group.

  • Lead joint strategy planning, account mapping, initiative creation, and management with partners.

  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with partner organizations, acting as the primary point of contact.

  • Identify, negotiate, and contract new business opportunities and initiatives.
    ·Manage ongoing partnership performance, ensuring delivery of measurable business results for each partnership.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (business, product, tech, analytics, finance) to align on goals, resources, and execution.

  • Monitor industry trends and proactively identify new partnership opportunities.

  • Represent Expedia Group and Enterprise Alliances externally, including at partner meetings and industry events (travel required ~25%).

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing strategic partnerships in the technology sector; experience with AI or travel is a plus but not required.

  • Demonstrated success in business development, account management, and negotiating complex deals.

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen; able to translate vision into actionable plans.

  • Highly proactive, accountable, and able to operate with limited direction and high ownership.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills at all levels.

  • Collaborative mindset; able to work effectively across functions and cultures.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $238,500.00 to $334,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $381,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in San Francisco is $253,500.00 to $355,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $405,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
