Job Description

The Sr. Consultant, Client Success Manager is a client-facing, individual contributor responsible for owning the holistic post-sale Client Services relationship for a portfolio of Visa clients. The Sr. Consultant is a trusted client advocate who works proactively with clients to enable new capabilities, manage geographic expansion, and promote product adoption across Visa’s solutions. This role will support a variety of crypto partners, which may include crypto exchanges, wallet providers, stablecoin issuers, fintech infrastructure platforms, and banks launching crypto‑enabled issuance, acceptance, and remittance solutions.

The role requires a high level of professionalism, technical aptitude, understanding of the crypto ecosystem, leadership, and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. The Sr. Consultant partners closely with Sales, Product, and Client Services teams to proactively drive Client Success outcomes aligned to Visa’s business agenda and the Sales Account Plan.

This role is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of Visa’s Client Success transformation by partnering closely with key Visa clients to maximize benefits realization and value from Visa products through optimizing performance. The individual will also define and deploy client support and service implementation strategies, including automated tools and capabilities, to enhance the client experience and drive value for both clients and Visa. This role is focused on direct ownership of crypto and digital asset client relationships, where navigating complex operating models, rapid product evolution, and regulatory change is core to delivering client success.

This role serves as a functional generalist, located in North America and reporting to Sr. Director, Client Success Management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own the end-to-end post-sale Client Services relationship for assigned clients, acting as the primary point of contact for operational engagement and Client Success delivery, including for clients with crypto or digital asset-related use cases.
  • Oversee the implementation of new Visa products purchased by Clients by coordinating key Client and Visa teams to expedite implementation readiness activities and steer Clients toward faster time to value and maximized adoption.
  • Enable clients to achieve their operational goals by understanding their business objectives, success metrics, and growth strategies, including where clients are leveraging emerging payment technologies or crypto-adjacent models.
  • Proactively drive product adoption, geographic expansion, and optimization initiatives across the client portfolio to improve client performance and satisfaction.
  • Foster and sustain strong partnerships with internal Account Team members by aligning on account strategy, identifying risks and opportunities, and executing against Client Success Plans.
  • Stay current with payment industry trends, Visa solutions, and technologies as well as broader trends impacting crypto, digital assets, and emerging payment ecosystems, to provide a strong client experience and identify opportunities to address client pain points.
  • Partner with cross-functional Visa teams (Client Services, Product, Risk, Sales, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Business Development) to resolve issues, support launches, and scale crypto solutions post‑sale.
  •  Support periodic operational and business reviews with Clients and internal stakeholders, interpreting and communicating insights on crypto product performance, adoption, early-stage signals, and progress against agreed success metrics, including the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business outcomes.
  • Proactively monitor client health and identify risks or opportunities, taking action to optimize client performance, retention, and long-term growth.
  • Advocate for clients through strong operational excellence by driving complex and cross-functional initiatives in support of client goals and by identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and process improvement.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 149,800.00 to 240,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
