POSITION SUMMARY: 

As the Financial Reporting Analyst you will support the manager and senior analysts by contributing to the preparation and analysis of internal and external financial results for Nestlé Health Science, which are reported to management teams and Nestlé Group Management. The role also provides support for financial reporting requirements for internal stakeholders and collaborates with cross-functional teams throughout the organization (multiple divisions) to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of monthly and quarterly financial results, in alignment with Nestlé reporting policies and systems. As part of the corporate accounting team, this role offers valuable exposure to financial reporting, planning, and analysis. 

 
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Analyze and report Nestlé Health Science consolidated financial results (monthly, quarterly, and annual). Users include local management and Nestlé Group management. Works closely with the operating divisions and corporate functional groups, and business contacts at the Global headquarters.  

  • Provides financial reporting support and guidance to multiple operating divisions within Nestlé Health Science. 

  • Support quarterly Balance Sheet reviews including analytical review and enquiries with management to ensure completeness, accuracy,  

  • Responds to inquiries from various functional areas as needed and prepares and assists in the preparation of required reports for management. 

  • Participates in process reengineering, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing the change through digital solutions 

  • Support opportunities for automation and introduce digital solutions 

  • Assist with preparing financial statements and required disclosures 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with major in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA or equivalent designation desirable 

  • External/Internal Audit and Internal Controls experience preferred 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance 

  • Solid understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (US GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 

  • SAP system experience preferred 

SKILLS: 

  • Understand and use agile and design thinking principles for everyday work 

  • Ability to influence without authority across divisions and teams to drive process improvements and automation 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data 

  • Takes initiative and operates with little supervision 

  • Emphasis on documentation and automation 

  • Well-organized, methodical thinker with excellent decision-making skills 

  • Strong and creative problem-solving skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook) 

  • Capable of performing effectively in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities 

  • Ability to work in a team-based environment, and interact cooperatively with internal and external customers 

  • Strong result-orientation
