Introduction to the Team
Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We bring Expedia Group’s innovative technology and distribution solutions to partners across the world. These businesses include global financial institutions, corporate managed travel, offline travel agents, global travel suppliers (like major airlines), and many more.
Our B2B Product & Tech organization is looking for a dynamic Planning Manager to spearhead planning efforts across the team. This role is crucial for orchestrating business programs, identifying and enacting organizational improvements, and supporting our cross-functional product development planning processes. You will partner closely with a wide variety of stakeholders, including leadership, building strong relationships to influence and achieve common goals.
In this role, you will:
Lead the product feature request (PFR) program and oversee its ongoing operations.
Support the quarterly development planning process by handling communications, quality assurance, training, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Oversee cyclical reporting processes, including monthly metrics reviews, and support teams in reporting on key scorecard measures.
Ensure timely sharing of release communications that align with established frameworks.
Coordinate with the B2B communications team to deliver relevant information promptly and to a high standard.
Organize and guide B2B Product & Tech organizational events, ensuring they run smoothly and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Establish and drive timelines, ensuring all parties are clear on delivery expectations and that documentation is clear and completed to a high quality.
Implement continuous improvements to quarterly processes by actively seeking and incorporating feedback from all stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related business or technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.
4-6 years of experience in program management, project management, or a similar planning role.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and project management principles.
Proficiency with Jira.
Demonstrated attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers and build strong relationships across different teams, levels, and time zones.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to responsibilities, with experience in identifying and mitigating risks.
A dedication to actively seeking diverse feedback and anticipating needs to address them proactively.
