Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced communications and project manager to support commercial communications, drive strategic operations, and elevate employee engagement initiatives within our Customer Operations Center and support global communications operations. In this high impact role, you’ll act as a change agent for optimization and process improvement, enabling executives, employees, and cross-functional stakeholders to advance operational excellence and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Communications & Engagement
    • Create and implement strategic communication plans that foster a positive work environment, enhance employee engagement, and ensure alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
    • Draft and deliver internal and external communications, presentations, and reports on behalf of the VP, Customer Operations and leadership team (and in partnership with AA Comms team)
    • Design and implement initiatives to boost employee morale, motivation, and retention.
    • Establish event and communication initiatives (in partnership with Austin’s leadership team) to drive engagement and advance organizational culture and long-term strategies.
    • Serve as the central point for Austin colleague communications, developing and cascading programs that amplify collaboration and build a high performing, connected team culture.
    • Ensure consistent messaging across multiple channels and functions, working across global communications partners to maintain strategic alignment.
  • Communications Materials Optimization
    • Build and maintain a robust and user-friendly database to capture and organize research data for promotional and external use.
    • Lead the strategic optimization of Veeva submissions and materials documentation for Corporate Communications/MLRC reviews.
    • Champion process improvements by streamlining key materials and documentation, accelerating and enhancing the MLRC review lifecycle.
  • Strategic Operations
    • Drive operational excellence by helping to refine promotional material review processes and competitive benchmarking for maximum efficiency.
    • Oversee Asana calendar management for global communications.
    • Manage customer contract engagements and SOW/POs for HCP interactions, ensuring visibility and clarity.
  • Executive Support & Process Improvement
    • Support research, communications and material development for the executive leadership team, as needed, and special projects for the VP, Customer Engagement and Corporate Affairs, executing priority initiatives as needed.
    • Design, structure and lead strategic projects – identify opportunities to drive commercial performance, conduct analysis to support, develop action plans, and tactically guide execution.
    • Identify, evolve, and improve systems and processes that allow teams to function effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications Project Management
  • At least 10+ years of experience in communications, project management or related roles, preferably within a large organization.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication and engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive adoption of new initiatives through effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills to deliver consistently on both strategic and daily operational objectives.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
