About the Role:
The individual will be responsible for producing Chinese and English investment marketing collateral to market Invesco’s global investment products in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. The role will also have an administrative aspect to support the Chief Marketing Officer and senior leaders on travel, expenses submissions, meeting set up and other group activities as assigned.
Responsibilities of the role:
Assist team leader to produce Chinese (traditional and simplified) and English fund flyers, pitch books, websites, email campaigns, etc to promote key focus funds through compliance checking and translation.
Data check on regular monthly materials, website content and layout.
Work closely with Invesco’s sales colleagues, channel marketing, digital marketing, communications, client portfolio management, compliance, economic research, investment, marketing operations, product development, to deliver compliance-approved marketing collateral.
Proofread and verify investment marketing bilingual content to ensure accuracy and consistency with Invesco’s in-house style and terminology.
Handle assigned client requests / templates / FAQs / newsletters.
Be the main coordinator for team administrative tasks including team shared folders, invoice, submitting senior leaders expenses and travel arrangements.
Requirement for the Role:
University degree in any discipline that can demonstrate effective English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) writing skills, and investment knowledge. Business, Communications, English, Finance, History, Investment Management, Economics, Journalism, Law, Marketing, Translation (English and Chinese) or other related disciplines
At least 3-5 years’ work experience minimum, preferably in financial institutions, financial journalism, public relations, marketing, communications, or translation.
Demonstrated ability to handle administrative tasks and improve processes.
Experience with website content / digital marketing a plus.
Effective writing and sub-editing skills in Chinese and English to transform technical investment ideas into clear and concise marketing content
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Effective communications in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
Excel and PowerPoint skills
Typing in Chinese (>20 characters/minute)
Basic knowledge of portfolio management and global investment markets (equities, fixed income, multi-assets, alternative) a plus or willingness to quickly learn
Strong systems knowledge – email marketing and CMS a plus
