We are looking for a talented Service Supervisor - Power Generation to join our team specializing in Service for our Distribution Business in Avondale, AZ.
Job Summary:
Supervises employees who install, service, and repair equipment and machinery.

- Electronic Service Tool Application: Identifying and utilizing the appropriate electronic tools for service events is essential. Interpreting the results from these tools helps you determine the next steps for resolving service issues effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Supervision and Scheduling: Supervise Service Technicians and/or Service Team Leaders, coordinate and schedule their work, communicate repair plans aligned with customer quotes, and monitor productivity and repair quality.
- Coaching and Feedback: Provide coaching and feedback to individual Service Technicians and/or Service Team Leaders, conduct performance reviews, and offer opportunities for professional growth.
- Technical Support: Offer first-level support to Service Technicians needing assistance and escalate technical support needs when necessary.
- Service Logistics Management: Manage service logistics, including the use of materials, equipment, and employees, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operations.
- Quote Accuracy and Communication: Develop and/or review quotes for accuracy before communicating them to customers and provide updates on repair status and any changes to plans or schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities by reviewing, changing, and improving processes to meet changing customer expectations and organizational goals.
- Repair Monitoring: Monitor the status of open repairs with technicians, addressing issues that impact the completion of the repair plan within the quoted time.
- Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Management: Monitor goals and targets for the branch, maintain superior customer satisfaction levels, resolve customer concerns related to warranties, and develop strong relationships with key customers through frequent and professional communication.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience, required.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Cummins Avondale Power Gen Service Supervisor is an onsite role that will have responsibility over operations in Avondale, Tucson and Mesa. Will need to be available for afterhours emergency service events.
