About the role
We’re looking for a Copywriter to help bring Zillow’s brand story to life across channels. This is a hands-on, ideas-first role for someone who loves storytelling, whether that’s a 6-second social spot, a longer film, or a scrappy experiential idea. You’ll help concept and write across a range of work, partnering closely with creatives, marketers, and cross-functional teams to make sure everything we put into the world feels clear, cohesive, and compelling.
You don’t just write - you think in ideas! You’re curious, collaborative, and excited to turn real human insights into work that resonates.
You Will Get To:
Help develop and write creative concepts across campaigns, social, video, digital, experiential, and more
Turn briefs and business goals into clear, engaging, human-centered storytelling
Partner with designers, marketers, and producers to bring ideas to life across channels
Contribute to brainstorms and help push ideas from early concept through execution
Write and refine copy across formats, from short-form to long-form
Support messaging development that works for both consumer and business audiences
Participate in discovery sessions to uncover insights that strengthen the work and keep it connected to culture, trends, and new storytelling formats
Help maintain and evolve Zillow’s brand voice across everything you touch
Who you are
2+ years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house creative environment
A portfolio that shows strong ideas, clear writing, and an interest in brand storytelling
Comfortable thinking conceptually - not just executing, but helping shape ideas
A strong writer with good instincts for tone, clarity, and emotional resonance
Open to feedback and excited to learn and grow your craft
Collaborative and energized to build ideas with others
Able to manage multiple projects and move at a fast pace
Interested in how creativity connects to business goals
