Role Overview:

The Ops Support Lead Analyst for Legacy Holdings Operations & Technology is responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong control framework. Holdings Operations includes in-country teams in multiple countries as well as a centralized operations hub (CSIPL), with Holdings Technology supported across multiple locations including Singapore and Poland, providing application management and production support for the Holdings markets. Holdings mandate is to effectively support and wind down residual obligations and activities from Wind-down, divested and liquidated Legacy Franchises businesses. Residual obligations include reputational, contractual, and regulatory items that remain post-divestiture or wind-down.

The control framework will include direct quality assurance (QA) review, validation of QA done by the in-country teams or at the CSIPL Operations hub, Issues and CAP management and reporting, and management coordination and completion of MCA. The Ops Support Lead Analyst will interact regularly with LF global in-business risk team and second/third line of defense as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for quality assurance output from operations hub (CSIPL) and various in-country operations teams; oversees larger quality initiatives.

  • Works with operations and technology teams to ensure timely issue identification, escalation, and resolution.  Tracks Issues and CAPs across Holdings Operations and Technology to ensure on time closure.

  • Provides central reporting and oversight of all Holdings O&T owned/impacted CAPS and Issues.

  • Responsible for effective control and governance framework across all Holdings Operations and Technology, spanning all geographies, encompassing all Citi Risk & Controls activities including PRCMs (Process Risk Control Monitoring), Managers Control Assessment (MCA), and contribution to Quarterly and Annual Risk Assessments (QRA & ARA)

  • Effective partnership with Legacy Franchise In-Business Risk and Control team is required to continue to embed the MCA transformation program, to assess risk profile of remaining Holdings Operations businesses and Technology ensuring that controls are appropriate and effective.

  • Ensure all monitoring is completed effectively and evidence submitted timely. Coordinate and complete control design assessments and walk-throughs with the Central Testing Utility as required.

  • Contribute and coordinate lessons learned activities such as read across activities to review Issues identified globally which may also impact Holdings O&T.

  • Responsible for regulations management, working with In Business Risk team to ensure that all appropriate regulations are assessed and mapped to controls as required.

  • Help coordinate deliverables and responses for internal and external examinations. Coordinate and supply all evidence required for ongoing IA quarterly deliverables.

  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.

  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to persuade and influence others

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant experience

  • Understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions

  • Knowledge of Citi Risk & Controls and Risk Management Framework

  • Ability to successfully manage relationships across multiple functions and execute against collective goals


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree
