Skills and Competencies
•    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
•    Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously
•    Excellent attention to detail, data integrity, and organizational skills
•    Solid technical proficiency, including MS Office; advanced Excel skills preferred
•    Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
•    Self-motivated, inquisitive, and curious; demonstrates positive energy, resilience, and professionalism
•    Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency
•    Work experience in financial services and/or relationship management, account management, or business development roles a plus; Structured Finance industry knowledge also a plus

 

Education
•    Bachelor’s degree required; majors or minors in finance, marketing, economics, or business preferred

 

Responsibilities
Proactively manage portfolios of North America Structured Finance customers, focusing on Structured Credit and CLOs.


•    Represent the Commercial Group professionally during relationship management efforts with new and existing customers
•    Advance customer experience for transaction intake, handover to analytical teams, and timely response to inquiries
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with arrangers and issuers through regular communication and coordinated meetings to promote market transparency and gather trend insights.
•    Facilitate dialogue to ensure accuracy of transaction pipeline and identify new market entrants
•    Prepare and deliver rating applications and engagement letters efficiently
•    Negotiate and onboard engagements, demonstrating strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
•    Maintain accurate Salesforce data entry and ensure compliance in record-keeping
•    Liaise with internal departments to manage inquiries and coordinate invoices
•    Research data for reports, charts, and presentations; contribute to periodic reporting and audits
•    Participate in ad hoc projects and reporting requests, demonstrating adaptability


About the Team
Our US Commercial Group – Structured Finance team is responsible for managing relationships with issuers and arrangers across North America, ensuring exceptional customer experience and market transparency. By joining our team, you will be part of exciting work in structured credit markets, sustainable finance, and emerging trends, while leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance operational efficiency and foster innovation.

 

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $56,200.00-$81,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
