We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Cash and Trade Processing Analyst 2- Hybrid based in Manila, Philippines. The Cash and Trade Processing Analyst 2 is an intermediate level role responsible for managing technology projects throughout the entire system development lifecycle in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to research and implement sustainable technology solutions, increase efficiency and reduce costs.

In this role, you are expected to:

• Research, identify and recommend technology capabilities that enable the reduction of client inquiries and manual touch points
• Research current treasury and client operational trends and suggest solutions
• Work in partnership with vendors, technology, and client operations teams to prototype innovative solutions
• Propose and implement solutions that will increase operating efficiency and lead to an improved client experience
• Assist efforts to help drive high rates of client adoption
• Ensure requirements are clearly stated and that business and client needs are met throughout development
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Process and monitor domestic fund transfers via Pesonet, Philpass- RTGS, PDDTS including FX settlement.
• Support audit requirements and regulatory reporting related to the role.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payment transactions and if needed coordinate with various stakeholders
• Performs daily reconciliation and escalate potential risks
• Knowledgeable in fund transfers regulations and banking policies to ensure compliance, accuracy and timely processing of payment transactions.
• Actively participate and support various payments related projects

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 1-2 years of experience in a related role (Cash Management, Wire/Domestic Payments)
• Proven system development lifecycle skills
• Proficient understanding of emerging technologies
• Effective verbal and written skills
• Effective analytic and presentation skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
