Role Summary Senior payroll accountability and ownership for multiple complex countries or deep SME knowledge of a large complex country to ensure an accurate, timely and compliant execution of payroll through effective vendor management and timely escalation of issues whilst exhibiting role model behaviours Experience 5+ years for Bachelor's 5+ years for Master's Education 5+ years payroll experience in an international organisation for a large complex single country or end to end accountability for a multi-country payroll operation Bachelor's or Master's or Industry recognised Qualification/equivalent experience Functional/ Technical Skills Workday (HCM) (Payroll - US only) ServiceNow (CRM) CloudPay (Payroll and advanced reporting) Expert payroll and employment tax subject matter expertise for countries in scope of role Presentation Skills (Powerpoint) Intermediate Advanced use of Office applications relevant to role (Excel/Outlook) Understanding of downstream financial impact of payroll outputs Expert understanding of Tax, Social Insurance, Employment Law and Regulatory Practices in relevant countries Ability to identify, research and advise of potential compliance issues Ability to manage Internal and External Audit requests escalating any concerns and answering questions that arise Expert understanding of SOX expectations Role Expectations • Consistently responds to stakeholder requests in an accurate, timely and professional manner. • Understands (internal and external) customers’ needs, and begins to develop the skills necessary to help customers understand business challenges. • Continues building understanding of the organization's processes, objectives and challenges ,and their impact on the business and how this affects their role. • Ability to understand the voice of customer and apply to policy and payroll best practice. • Ability to partner with customers to solve complex inquiries/queries. • Ability to influence and gains cooperation of peers/ stakeholders. • Relationship management with various stakeholders (internal & external). • Understands the importance of being able to say ‘no’ when required whilst maintaining professional relationships. • Demonstrates a mindset of continuous improvements. • Demonstrates and promotes the importance of following escalation processes to mitigate risks and provides solutions for resolution. • Proactively creates and maintains key relationships in the performance of the function. • Confident in delivering information, facilitating dicussions, and presenting to stakeholders. • Language skills and cultural awareness relevant to Countries in scope of role. • Expectation to continually circle back and assess change. • Follows local, state and federal regulations. • Provides broad information on compliance standards and requirements to stakeholders. • Understands the steps for reporting to management and regulatory agencies. • Continues building knowledge of HR technical/professional area best practices and their unique application to the company. • Extensive functional area knowledge. • Contributes to design and creation of program materials.
