Wellthy is seeking a Director of Member Growth and Activation to drive enrollment volume, conversion outcomes, and member engagement. This role is accountable for experimentation velocity and optimizing the member journey, ensuring families receive the support they need.
Responsibilities will include:
- Drive member growth and client success by increasing enrollment and activation, directly impacting Wellthy’s value to clients
- Lead a high-volume experimentation culture focused on rapid A/B testing, iteration, and applying data-driven insights
- Identify and remove barriers that prevent families from accessing care
- Develop and execute engagement strategies for millions of employees and families using Wellthy as a benefit or through insurance carriers
- Ensure Wellthy’s mission and voice are present throughout the member lifecycle
- Shape and lead a proactive, world-class Member Support strategy
Growth Strategy & Function Building:
- Build and lead a high-performance growth function focused on daily conversion metrics and growth-hacking
- Develop strategies across the full member lifecycle: launch, awareness, enrollment, activation, ongoing care, and re-engagement
- Design and implement outreach playbooks and behavioral nudges to move members from enrollment to engagement and re-engagement
Launch, Ecosystem & Content Ownership:
- Own the development of client and partner launch practices, creating campaign frameworks and toolkits for various industries
- Craft clear, inclusive messaging to help members navigate Wellthy’s services
- Collaborate on content roadmaps, ensuring readiness for client needs and seasonal events
- Develop specialized campaigns for members accessing Wellthy via health plans and insurance carriers
Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Partner with Client Success and Product Marketing to provide insights and playbooks that strengthen employer relationships and demonstrate program impact
- Work with Product and CX to enhance in-app engagement and promote use of specialized tools
- Collaborate with Brand/Creative to produce accessible and empathetic content across all member touchpoints
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Monitor engagement metrics, funnel conversion, and member behavior to identify growth opportunities
- Run A/B tests and experiments to improve messaging, timing, and channel strategy
- Translate engagement trends into actionable recommendations for internal teams and clients
People Management:
- Lead and oversee the Member Support team, including Activation Specialists and Member Support specialists
- Guide and support the Communications and Marketing Associate in developing content for members and clients
You’re a great fit if you:
- Have 8–10+ years of experience in Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, or Lifecycle Growth, ideally in a fast-scaling B2B2E or Fintech/Health tech environment
- Demonstrate a growth-hacker mindset with a proven track record of driving significant conversion improvements through creative, data-backed tactics
- Possess expert-level experience with growth tools (e.g., HubSpot) and project management systems (e.g., Linear, Asana)
- Communicate complex care needs in simple, clear, and inclusive language
- Have experience building, hiring, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams
Total Compensation
The starting salary range is $125,000–$145,000.
