Job Summary
As a Pre-Sales Consultant at SoftwareOne, you will play a critical role in driving sales success through effective problem-solving using technology solutions. Strong expertise in finding opportunities for cross-selling and upselling with a deep understanding of Virtualization, multiple operating systems and applications.
Preferred location is Milwaukee/Chicago.
Role & Responsibilities
Scope and size sales opportunities by analyzing client requirements, objectives, and constraints to ensure alignment with business capabilities.
Design tailored solutions and develop proposals, including clear and comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs), while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
Partner with the sales team throughout the sales cycle, providing technical guidance, identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and supporting revenue-driving strategies.
Define and align margins and pricing in collaboration with sales, ensuring proposals remain competitive while maintaining profitability.
Create accurate quotes for complex opportunities and maintain up-to-date solution collateral such as presentations, case studies, and white papers to support sales efforts.
