NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Transportation Coordinator based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.
The Transportation Coordinator will perform a variety of duties related to the Company’s Promotional Vehicle Program, including fleet coordination and vehicle lifecycle support, and will provide professional transportation and courier services for VIPs as needed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operate company vehicles and provide safe, confidential transportation services for VIPs, executives, and board members.
- Provide recurring courier services for high‑priority deliveries as needed.
- Assist with the ordering, delivery, and onboarding of the Promotional Vehicle Fleet, working with manufacturers and dealerships.
- Support vehicle turn‑in and pick‑up processes, including inspections, paperwork, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all vehicle registrations, plates, and recall notices remain current; assist with annual renewals.
- Manage assignment and availability of spare vehicles for the Daytona NASCAR/IMSA fleet.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date vehicle inventory records, including VIN, mileage, model year, and assigned drivers.
- Coordinate warranty and preventative maintenance with approved service providers and dealerships.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to ensure condition, readiness, and safety.
- Clean and detail vehicles as needed to maintain professional presentation standards.
- Travel approximately 20%, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
- Participate in on‑call responsibilities and respond to last‑minute requests as required.
Required skills/experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical school certificate is a plus.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in vehicle service, fleet coordination, logistics, or a related field.
- Clean and verifiable driving record meeting company safety standards.
- Strong organizational and customer‑service skills, with the ability to work discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience performing basic vehicle inspections or coordinating service/maintenance activities.
- Proficient in Excel and basic office software (Word, spreadsheets, data entry, and online databases).
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must pass required screenings, including drug screening, MVR check, and NASCAR Security background check.
