As part of GNB, CSG Relationship Managers specialize in extending banking services and support to the overseas subsidiaries of Citi Commercial Bank’s (CCB) global parented clients. Working closely with Parent Account Managers (PAMs) to deliver a remarkable client experience, CSG Relationship Managers are the face, voice and protector of Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) business, rallying our teams to build successful global commercial banking relationships for most of our most important clients. The CSG Relationship Manager acts as the central client contact in the country / region and manages the local delivery and execution of the Bank’s broad spectrum of products and services.
Job Description
- The Commercial Banking business provides financial services on a wide range of transactions including cash management, Markets, Trade, commodities, corporate finance, Investment Banking (acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and re-structuring) for corporate worldwide. Our bankers work closely with our other business units to ensure client access to the full range of product and expertise within Citi.
- The GNB business is focused on serving the subsidiaries of our global corporate clients.
- Towards promoting a client-focused industry structure, this role supports a holistic, end-to-end, global approach to serving our multinational clients.
- The Banker in this job is meant to be the prime contact point in Citi Hungary.
- He/she needs to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a client portfolio of subsidiary clients.
- Build strong relationships with your client portfolio, increase access to senior levels of the clients’ organization.
- Work closely with internal partners to develop innovative solutions to meet specific client needs.
- Perform various activities for Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, including timely origination, monitoring, renewals and completion across all product and marketing levels.
- Facilitate credit originations, credit allocation, approvals, documentation, bookings, fee collections, renewals and justify exceptions, as well as credit allocation from Parent Account Management teams and Credit Risk Management.
- Identify revenue opportunities, position certain products with clients and monitor billing and service queries.
- Maintain and ensure that portfolios have correct marketing levels and legal structure reported in the appropriate systems.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in relationship management /client facing position in the financial or in the service sector.
- Native Hungarian and fluent English knowledge.
- Consistently client focused and result oriented.
- Demonstrated information resourcefulness and a high level of attention to detail.
- Consistently demonstrate follow-up and organizational skills.
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Proven planning, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Consistently demonstrate a professional attitude.
- Capable to smoothly conduct client interactions, negotiations.
- Team player attitude to work effectively with internal and external counterparts.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree in finance or equivalent experience.
