About the role
As Senior Program Manager of Talent in India, you will help operationalize our new Bangalore office. In this individual contributor role, you’ll act as a strategic bridge between U.S.based leadership and India teams, ensuring the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment to onboarding and experience—is localized and compliant. This role is critical to scaling our Bangalore presence in alignment with global standards while delivering a seamless, high-quality employee experience.
You Will Get to
Operationalize Talent Infrastructure: Build the foundational playbooks for our India office, encompassing the full employment life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, and local employee experience.
Localize Global Standards: Adapt global policies, SOPs, and workflows for the India market, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and data privacy requirements.
Advise on Global Scaling: Partner with Product Owners and SMEs to ensure global recruiting tools (Workday, Gem, Paradox, AI solutions) are optimized for India-specific nuances without creating fragmented regional processes.
Drive Experience & Adoption: Lead change management, training, and adoption programs for local teams to ensure technology and processes deliver measurable impact.
Strengthen Cross-Regional Partnerships: Serve as the operational bridge between India and U.S. leadership, surfacing risks and running feedback loops to influence global roadmaps.
Manage Local Talent Partners: Partner with outside counsel and external talent vendors to lead business reviews and ensure actionable insights are integrated into our local strategy.
Who you are
Experience: 5+ years in talent or recruiting program management, HRIS, or talent operations in a global environment.
India Market Expert: A strong understanding of India hiring practices, compliance considerations, and cultural dynamics.
Lifecycle Advisor: Proven ability to manage complex programs end-to-end, identifying local needs and designing scalable solutions that integrate with global systems.
Collaborative Influencer: Excellent cross-cultural communicator who can influence both technical product teams and business stakeholders.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to guide decisions and measure the health of local operations.
Adaptable: Comfortable operating in a start-up environment with a distributed global team.
