Job Description

Under minimal supervision of the packing supervisor and / or production coordinator, performs operations of the final manual packaging equipment, product inspections, and handling of packaging material and tablets. In addition, the incumbent performs the cleaning process of the area and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the correct documentation of the tasks performed.
  • Responsible for properly identifying containers, products, and areas
  • Know and apply the security rules, cGMP's, and company policies
  • Keep the area clean and organized, so that the employee can work in a safe environment and in compliance with GMPs
  • Responsible for following the instructions of the packing batch and related procedures; including safety, proper handling, identification, and process.
  • Responsible for the quality, productivity, and efficiency of the packaging processes assigned.
  • Assist the production coordinator when necessary.
  • Responsible for the receipt, verification, and use of packaging material and tablets.
  • Assist in the feeding of materials to the packing equipment during the packing process.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor and / or coordinator

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Technical Degree with 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or packaging. Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
