Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business products, processes, and systems. Collects, analyzes, and synthesizes information to document business requirements and translate them into detailed technical needs and formal specifications, ensuring stakeholder and business objectives are met. Reviews business and product needs, instructions, and regulatory requirements, and provides customer support as needed. Authors and communicates clear, comprehensive requirements documentation. Depending on project needs, performs a combination of project management, technical implementation, and testing analyst activities. Brings a strong proprietary knowledge base or multiple years of experience in requirements analysis and documentation, and is capable of leading higher‑level business requirements and specifications.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible to:

  • Leads the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business needs and requirements, applying a structured methodology to ensure clarity and prioritization.
  • Develops formal specifications and effectively communicates requirements between stakeholders and development teams to design viable business solutions.
  • Analyzes and improves business processes across technology and business areas, ensuring requirements are actionable and aligned to objectives.
  • Translates complex business requirements into effective technical solutions and recommends approaches based on business goals and solution impacts.
  • Ensures solution implementation aligns with approved designs and requirements while managing change and stakeholder communication for complex initiatives.
  • Supports agile delivery by participating in sprint ceremonies, maintaining backlog and sprint artifacts, and coordinating sprint‑level reporting.
  • Builds strong stakeholder relationships and maintains in‑depth knowledge of Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services while contributing to performance metrics and continuous improvement.

About You

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting technology-driven initiatives.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in IT Industry-related majors.

  • Experience working in a contact center environment, supporting customer-facing operations, tools, or platforms.

  • Hands-on experience using AI in your job role, such as applying AI-driven tools, analytics, automation, or intelligent assist technologies to improve business or customer outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience supporting iterative development through sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage backlogs, user stories, requirements, and sprint artifacts, ensuring visibility, traceability, and alignment across delivery teams.
