- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

- Recruit and manage a team of engineers, mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skills and set the team strategy and goals.
- Partner across Google RCE organization to align products and businesses towards a unified product experience. Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Translate customer requirements and business objectives to a clear goals for the organization, focusing on customer needs and use-cases when making decisions.
- Maintain high standards and best practices for engineering excellence, and foster and facilitate collaboration with other engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in design, architectural and operational decisions, driving software engineering projects from definition to delivery and maintenance.
