The Engagement Coordinator provides crucial support across investor and company outreach and engagement, to expand the universe of companies that respond to the Responsible Business team’s company surveys and building relationships with new and existing investor signatories in organizations around the world. They also provide logistical and ad hoc support to other members of the Responsible Business team when necessary. About the Role:

  • Maintains our contact database and carries out general administrative and support tasks
  • Manages external relationships with several target companies for our surveys, via phone calls and emails, especially during the disclosure period (July-November)
  • Carries out company feedback calls and background research
  • Carries out research to construct and update the company guidance and support documents
  • Research and maps out potential investor signatories
  • Sets up prospecting calls with potential investor signatories
  • Assists with managing relationships with our investor signatory groups, helping to ensure investor signatories remain engaged with our surveys by monitoring usage of the response data, investor participation in meetings and taking appropriate action to deepen engagement as needed
  • Assists with company and investor webinars and workshops
  • Assists with conference and other event planning
  • Contribute to articles, reports, blogs or other publications which draw on or relate to our findings, helping to educate and inform investors and companies on key topics
  • Offer support for ad hoc tasks including project management, monitoring and evaluation and social media.
About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field.
  • Solid CRM knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Relevant experience in a situation related to this role, e.g. client relationship management (especially via phone), investment or investor relations, or corporate responsibility
  • Confidence in using IT to manage data and communications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce, SharePoint).
  • Knowledge and experience of using Salesforce as a CRM
  • Energized by working with external stakeholders – able to build effective working relationships and nurture these over time
  • Persuasive communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to work constructively with people at different levels of seniority and diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently but exercise judgement to seek advice when appropriate
  • Organized; self-directed on work initiatives; strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility and creative problem-solving skills
