Summary:

In this role, you will work independently as a strategic partner to large and complex healthcare clients to drive measurable financial and operational improvements. You will optimize contract utilization, identify cost-saving opportunities, and influence supply chain decision-making through advanced analytics and stakeholder collaboration. You will engage supply chain, clinical, operational, and financial leaders to deliver actionable insights, support strategic initiatives, and maximize the value of sourcing and contracting programs across multiple spend categories.

Responsibilities:

• Lead analysis of supply chain spend, contract utilization, and category performance to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.

• Develop and implement strategies to increase contract compliance and reduce off-contract spend.

• Manage contract lifecycle activities including expirations, activations, pricing validation, and issue resolution.

• Serve as a primary strategic partner to client supply chain, clinical, and financial leaders.

• Develop and deliver executive-level presentations translating data into decisions and outcomes.

• Convert complex datasets into insights, dashboards, and recommendations supporting client performance goals.

• Lead change initiatives related to standardization, sourcing transitions, contracting shifts, and new processes.

• Identify operational and reporting inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and suppliers to ensure coordinated execution.

• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, opportunities, and metrics using CRM or project management tools.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.

• 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

• Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain operations, sourcing, and contracting practices.

• Advanced analytical skills with demonstrated proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.

• Experience developing executive-level presentations and communicating complex insights clearly.

• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex, fast-paced environments.

• Experience working with large or multi-site healthcare organizations preferred.

• Residency in the St. Louis, MO or Dallas, TX metro area required.

• Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
