Role Summary:

In this role, you will participate in the design, development, and testing of the Ready to Review tax product using in-house development tools, including Thomson Reuters’ AI-enabled Ready to Review solution. You will contribute to the development of next-generation tax software that leverages agentic AI to modernize tax preparation and review workflows while maintaining professional oversight and regulatory compliance.

You will work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and quality assurance teams to collect, analyze, and prioritize requirements from external taxing authorities and internal stakeholders, translating those requirements into accurate and timely software enhancements. • Contribute to the design and enhancement of client-facing interfaces, including input and output screens, across traditional GoSystem Tax functionality and AI-assisted Ready to Review workflows.
  • Implement approved tax law and product changes within existing tax software using internal development tools, applying basic programming and configuration skills as required.
  • Document and communicate functional designs, business requirements, and system flow specifications to software engineers and other technical partners.
  • Execute functional and regression testing to validate software changes, including AI-enabled workflows, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain user-facing help content and documentation, partnering with technical writers to deliver clear and accurate guidance within the software.
  • Provide internal support on an as-needed basis, including responding to inquiries related to tax law implementation, software functionality, and workflow behavior.
