Senior Executive Assistant 2 - Chief Strategy, Business, and Corporate Development Officer

As the Senior Executive Assistant 2, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Chief Strategy, Business, and Corporate Development Officer, ensuring smooth daily operations and enabling leadership to focus on strategic priorities. What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive support services to executive leaders, ensuring outstanding communication, responsiveness, and execution
  • Provide sophisticated Outlook inbox, task, and calendar management. Prioritize inquiries and requests, troubleshoot conflicts with little guidance, make judgements and take actions to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements and effective communications with others
  • Work closely with each executive to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities. Anticipate needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc. and follow up appropriately
  • Prepare and edit documents as needed, including correspondence, memos, notes, presentations, reports, forms, spreadsheets, slide decks, etc.
  • Ensure well organized and up-to-date travel logistics, expense reports, contact lists, vendor and invoice management, files/records, and other administrative needs
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of onsite and offsite team events, including all-hands, leadership offsites, town halls, and milestone celebrations, ensuring clear objectives and a high-quality experience for participants
  • Support and coordinate cross-functional projects and workstreams on behalf of supported executives, helping manage timelines, track risks and dependencies, and maintain clear ownership and follow-through on action items.
  • Support board and committee related work as needed, including drafting timelines, managing calendars, and coordinating logistics for meetings that involve C-level leaders and board members.
  • Act as a culture champion and connector, creating inclusive spaces, welcoming new team members, and helping leaders stay attuned to team sentiment and emerging issues.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to boost team morale and engagement, recommending and coordinating recognition moments, appreciation initiatives, and connection-building activities.
  • Serve as a mentor and thought partner to other executive assistants, sharing best practices, providing guidance on complex situations, and helping build a strong, collaborative admin community.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting C-level or equivalent senior executives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak and write with professionalism and tact in a wide range of circumstances
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort adopting AI-driven productivity tools (e.g., for drafting communications, summarizing content, or automating routine workflows) to streamline executive and team operations.
  • Judgement to make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities, time, and communication. Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people
  • Exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • High initiative, productivity, and agility. Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with limited guidance. Ability to switch gears and react with appropriate speed to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
  • Technical proficiency to rapidly learn software and troubleshoot/solve technical problems
  • Model calm, solution-oriented, and inclusive behavior in high-pressure situations, helping maintain a positive tone and sense of stability across the team.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
